Thanks to everyone who was able to come last night. I'm sorry that we ran out of time for questions. Please feel free to email me if you have any at all. I am attaching the presentation for those who were unable to attend. Have a wonderful weekend!
TAG Open House Although we had a bumpy first day due to our late start schedule, TAG classes started back up this week with a great deal of enthusiasm. It is clear that these kids are eager and ready to learn.
The 5th grade class discussed the tragedy with Hurricane Harvey and several students have brainstormed ways that we can begin to help the unfortunate victims of this disaster here in Texas. There will be more to come about this. Thanks to everyone for getting your supplies in. Don't worry if you haven't been able to bring them. I understand how busy the beginning of a school year can be. Next week we will have a parent orientation for our 3rd through 5th grade parents of students in our TAG classes. Mrs. Zimny and I will have a combined session in the library from 6:00-6:30 with the PTA meeting to follow and then grade level presentations. Hope to see many parents there! If parents are unable to attend, we will be sure to post the presentation on our blog. I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend! Our classes will begin on Monday, August 28. I will come and pick all students up in your homeroom classes during our first week. All students will need to bring the following to my class during our first week:
Looking forward to seeing everyone!!! It was fun seeing so many of you on Meet the Teacher Night. I hope you all had a super summer. I look forward to our classes starting soon. Have fun during the first week of school!
Thank you to those who were able to attend our Open House. Here is a copy of our presentation if you were not able to make it.
